The new HP 1950 Switch Series is a smart-managed switch with 10G uplinks for faster server and storage connections to servers and storage to reduce bottlenecks and help organizations keep pace with today’s bandwidth-demanding applications. The 1950 Switch Series includes four switches: two non-PoE models and two PoE+ models in 24- and 48-port configurations. All models are equipped with an additional two 10GBASE-T and two 10G SFP+ ports for fiber connectivity. The PoE+ models have a power budget of 370 W to power up PoE/PoE+ compliant client devices. The 1950 Switch Series features an intuitive Web-managed interface for simple customization of network operation.
