This APC Metered Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides advanced warning to protect against unplanned power overloads. You can set up user-defined alarm thresholds to mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts of potential unexpected circuit overloads to your mission critical equipment. The Metered rack PDU provides power utilization trends which allow your Data Center Managers to make informed decisions on right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership.
You can access and configure a Metered rack PDU through secure Web, SNMP or Telnet Interface which is complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruXure Manager, InfraStruXure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager (software platforms available separately).
