ZyXEL NWA-3500 can be configured as an 802.11a or 802.11b/g access point with up to 15 non-overlapping channels (upon regulatory domain) for high density and large-scale deployments. With dual-band support and rogue AP detection that covers the whole spectrum, all traffics are under close watch anytime. The dual-band configurable NWA-3500 wireless access point provides more channels and more security.
The dual-radio feature of NWA-3500 supports dual-band configuration, therefore it can be configured as a concurrent dual-band access point to provide maximum wireless throughput. It can also be configured as 11a for bridging, or 11g for extending the wireless coverage without compromising the throughput. The concurrent dual-band capability indeed provides unlimited flexibility for efficient Wi-Fi network planning.
The NWA-3500 supports up to 16 SSIDs with 802.1Q VLAN tag that allows NWA-3500 to perform as multiple virtual access points. The NWA-3500 also provides pre-defined voice SSID and guest SSID for optimized voice prioritization, and offers top-level security for guest access without difficulties of complicated configuration efforts.
The NWA-3500 also provides a breakthrough benefit by using a centralized account on RADIUS server to control all the NWA-3500 access points; this simplifies management efforts and improves network security. Moreover, users can perform massive installation and configuration upgrades with the auto-configuration function. Simply put, the NWA-3500 is the best choice for small to medium enterprises.
