The InfiniBand Cable Series 10G InfiniBand Twinaxial Cables are designed to support high-speed connections for 10 Gbps Ethernet devices. They are an ideal solution for cost-e?ective, high-speed connectivity between D-Link switches, and other devices within a rack or in adjacent racks.
The D-Link 10G InfiniBand Twinaxial Cables support speeds of up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 3 metres (9.85 feet). This 10GBASE-CX4 cable runs over four pairs of twinaxial copper wiring, resulting in low latency, and supports the InfiniBand fabric’s quality of service (QoS) and failover features. The result is an optimal solution for handling high-bandwidth transmission over short distances.
The 10G InfiniBand Twinaxial Cables use 4X InfiniBand connectors with screw or latch type plugs. The DEM-CB300 features screw-type connectors at both ends, and can be used as physical stacking cables or uplink cables for D-Link’s DGS-3120 L2 Managed Stackable Gigabit Switch series.
